SC ruling on regulation of Minority Educational Institutions (MEIs):



An 11-judge constitution bench, ..., said the Minority had a right to establish educational institution and if it is unaided the state cannot regulate the same.


The SC also reminded the majority community that they, too, enjoy the same privileges vis-a-vis educational institutions.
