More from Gujarat. While the BJP slowly wakes up to the reality of the violence being a "blot on [its] image", refugees in camps are increasingly becoming worried. What with the threat of several camps closing down soon and the paltry compensation being doled out by the government - most of these refugees will just have to start over with virtually nothing. The VHP plan to economically destroy the Muslims seems to have worked.

As a once-refugee who saw his dad having to start over again, I can only sympathise with the Muslims of Gujarat.
