In what should come as welcome news to the Church, the Church-made film MATHIA has received the acclaim of the Tripura Government. This is especially so because non-Christians often mix up Christian denominations in North-East India (which has a history of insurgency and seccessionist movements) and accuse the Church of aiding terrorists - when, in fact, it is the Baptist church that does so. In fact, Baptist-aided outfits like the NLFT often target Catholic priests.
